1. Acorn International Summer School, Bristol

Acorn International Summer School provides unique academic summer camps for both international and British students in Tockington, just 10 miles north of Bristol in the South-West of England.

Based on the campus of an authentic British boarding school, we provide exclusive programmes for children ages 5-15. We are one of the few summer schools in the UK tailored entirely for the junior camp market, and offer academic programmes for 2 or 4 weeks.

Our school is situated in the countryside, on a beautiful self-contained campus which is safe and secure.

Acorn International is owned and run by a real family. We all have our own children, and when you arrive at Acorn International you will be greeted by three generations of our family!

Acorn International had a very successful inspection in 2014, and is now fully accredited by the British Accreditation Council.

2. Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow

Located in Glasgow City Centre, The Royal Conservatoire is Scotland's national centre of professional vocational training in performance arts. We provide a range of Short Summer Courses in a range of performing and production arts disciplines (Dance, Drama, Music, Production, and Screen) designed for children and young adults ages 1-17 from all over the world.

Each summer we present a packed programme of performing arts classes for young people (and adults). The wide variety of these summer courses are distinctive in the way that we use performing arts to allow our students to share their views, ideas and passions with each other.

Our summer schools are specialist courses designed and delivered by the Royal Conservatoire’s tutors, lecturers and professors who teach our undergraduate and postgraduate students. For the majority of our courses we have an open access policy. We welcome learners at all levels of experience and are committed to reducing barriers to participation in the arts.

The ethos of our work is built upon the belief that the arts can contribute to the development of the whole person. We value inter-disciplinary working, use traditional and contemporary practices to inform our teaching, and support the principle of access to excellence for all.

3. The Cambridge Centre for Languages

Established in 1982, The Cambridge Centre for Languages in Cambridge, Southeast England, has an international reputation for providing quality English language summer courses and is accredited by the British Council. Our summer courses are held the magnificent campus of The Perse Centre in Union Lane, just minutes from Cambridge city centre.

Our courses are designed for 12-16 year old students, and we put special emphasis on communicative skills. Students can avail of 6 different start dates for summer 2024, and can choose 2,3,4 or 6-week courses.

Our purpose is to to create an international environment where students from all over the world may learn about the lanugage, life and cultural heritage not only of Britain, but also of other countries. We also offer students the chance to take Trinity College London Exam in Spoken English.
English & Activity Summer Courses for Students Ages 12-16:

5. ACCORD International Summer Schools
Courses / Programs
ACCORD International Summer Schools welcomes children, teenagers, and young adults from all over the world to its four centres on the South Coast of England. We provide supervised English summer camp programs for non-native English speaking students ages 8-17 that includes an enjoyable English language learning experience - together with organised sports, activities and excursion programme. Our summer courses contain 15 hours of English lessons per week, with 7 levels of English from beginner to proficient learners.

Students can register by the week, and our courses are personal and of high quality. Students can be assured of an exciting and enjoyable experience while improving their English at the same time. The price includes 15 hours of English lessons, full-board residential accommodation, afternoon and evening sports and activities, 1 half-day excursion per week and 2 full-day excursions per week. 6. UK Film School - Residential Summer Filmmaking Course
Courses / Programs
UK Film School provides a residential, 5-day summer filmmaking course for students aged 12-15 and 16-19 years at Garden House in the historic market town of Stamford, Lincolnshire is a fantastic location conveniently situated in the heart of England and only 1 hour by train from London's King's Cross Station (Our summer base has plenty of interesting locations for filmmaking).

Over the course of a week, students have the opportunity to make a film from start to finish using broadcast quality equipment and under the guidance of film and TV professionals.

Students will experience all aspects of filmmaking - including script development, casting, location scouting, cinematography, sound recording, and more.

Our 1-week Filmmaking summer program includes all activities, boarding and meals.

9. Samiad Summer School, Nottingham
Courses / Programs
Samiad is a summer school provider that offers residential English summer courses to children (ages 8-12) and teenagers (ages 13-17) from around the world.

Combining quality English language classes with fun excursions and activities, we give our junior students the opportunity to improve their English, whilst enjoying the history and culture that the United Kingdom has to offer.

Our residential English courses take place in Trent College, a quality-approved boarding school just 8 miles from Nottingham City Centre and less than 2.5 hours drive north of London. Children will sleep in shared or dorm style rooms. Boys and girls are separated and children will be placed in groups of a similar age range.

Our summer English camps are two weeks duration in the months of July and August, incorporating English language tuition, exciting educational trips to historical places in the UK and an action-packed activities schedule. The University of St Andrews is offering a week-long summer hockey and rugby programmes for students ages 12-17 in July on the beautiful east coast of Scotland, UK.

Our week long summer programme is all-inclusive. It takes place at the world-famous University of St. Andrews and gives the student the chance to experience University life and take full advantage of the facilities, culture and history it has to offer.
