The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) opened in 1996 to forge a new approach to performing arts training. We offer performing arts classes for 4 - 19 years old in our part-time performing arts academy called LIPA 4:19. We have over 450 students who attend LIPA 4:19 every week and we have been blessed with a huge pool of talent from around the North. Due to its popularity, we opened a new satellite school at Maghull High School in September 2008. providing training in acting, singing and dancing.

The arts and entertainment industry needs multi-disciplined all-round performers, and LIPA 4:19 is designed to make you just that.
