Located in Taunton, Somerset, in the South West of England, Taunton School is a private, independent boarding and day school for boys and girls ages 0-7 that incorporates a nursery school & pre-preparatory school. Children can enter Taunton Nursery School from after birth, most usually following maternity leave to suit parental needs and can join at any point during the year, depending on availability of places.
Children progress through three stages of Tounton Nursery School from ages 0-4. From here, they will move up into the first year of the Pre-Prep in the September following their fourth birthday. Alternatively they can join at an stage in the Pre-Prep Department.
In the Pre-Prep, we very much believe that education is a partnership between school and home. We recognise and encourage the central role that parents play in their child's learning and development. To achieve this, we strive to inform and involve parents as much as we possibly can. Our aim is to produce well-rounded, articulate children by providing a balanced curriculum covering all aspects of their development - social, emotional, physical and intellectual.
Simply Learning Tuition is a private tuition organisation based in London that provides full-time homeschooling, relocation services and educational consultation for all examined subjects in the UK, from ages 2-30. We work closely with leading independent schools and we also provide residential tuition anywhere in the world as well as hourly classes from locations in Knightsbridge and Chelsea.
Our tutor's job is to restore your child's self-belief and quickly get them back on the track to academic success. They will also show them how assert themselves in class: to ask questions when they are interested and to seek help when they don't know the answers.
During a course of tuition with us, our students make remarkable progress and are often amazed to see how even small changes in approach can make a big difference. Simply by being shown how exams are marked and how to read and answer questions properly, children can effectively apply the knowledge they already have to great effect. A short course of tutorials can improve exam results by an average of 20%.
